The Devil's Elbow is conveniently located next to Interstate 44, former Route 66. The nearby Big Piney and Gasconade Rivers are quite scenic and serene. Enjoy your time here. Thanks again.
Karkagni is still out there man...great story!! I just added pbs docs to my Amazon subscriptions & Ken Burns Civil War is on there; haven't watched the whole thing for 10 years or so but I've seen it over 3 times. Might start it again this week. Really great read. Ty
I am hooked after reading your second story! I had noticed you liking my posts so I thought I would come over and read some of your stuff. Very impressed, a unique twist on time travel!
Thanks, man. I'm so glad you have some time to get into this stuff here. I'm writing a follow up to Spooklight on the Devil's Elbow set in 1991 and I hope to have it out this weekend.
This was a great story and had me engrossed with the creative civil war period characters and plot. I would love to see this story turned into a film. Well done!
Thank you so much for the kind words. I really appreciate it. It would great if this could be a film or television episode. Here Be Dragons is the series prologue set in 1719.
Hey, thanks so much for stopping by. I really appreciate it. Here is the follow if you are interested. It's the series prologue set in 1719. Thank you.
Thank you very much, for your kind words. I'm very fortunate to live in an area with so much to offer, rich in history and culture. I'm here to entertain.
Spellbinding storytelling! Parts of the story remind me of the mythical Wild Hunt with the march of lost souls. The Appalachian Civil War influences are so evocative and colorful!
Sorry, I'm late to the party here! I realized of course that I had read this piece (actually all of your pieces) and we've talked about them but I never put down a formal comment. So here to boost both your ego and the algorithm...it was wonderful! I thoroughly loved the attention to detail that you gave and the way that your story effortlessly flowed. The pacing was great and I really enjoyed the ending! Nice job on a well written piece!
Wow! I’m going to be in Missouri in a few weeks and definitely will be thinking of Gary and those lost souls!
Thank you so much. I sure do hope you enjoy your time here (beware the Kar-kag-ni).
Here Be Dragons is the prologue based on real-life events set in 1719. You might enjoy this too.
Thank you.
I will check it out and I will avoid the Devil’s Elbow!

"I AM FEAR!" great story. Would also love this as a short film!
Thank you very much, Ma'am. I appreciate it.
Your writing is intensely visual and evocative. I agree with Donna that it would be great as a short film.
oh goddamn it, this is perfect.
Thank you so much. Extremely kind words. I'm working on the third installment now called The Nightshade Coven.
All you!
I'm here for my audience. Stick around. Thanks.
Woo, you got a talent for writing that I envy.
Hey, I really appreciate your kind words. It's hard work.

That's a very cool story!
Thanks, man. It's a creepy place at night. The series just started. Next story takes place in 1719. Out in a few weeks.
I'll be looking for it!
You ever been to a Comic Con as a creator, like San Diego or Chicago?
No I haven't
I've been to Chicago Comic Con as a creator. You might think about it. Meet a ton of people.
Maybe so. That does sound interesting
The intro reminded me of a better written Jeepers Creepers. Good job!
Thank you. Huge compliment. I appreciate it.
